2018 Wild & Free Cabernet Sauvignon

This single vineyard, single varietal was aged 40 months in all new American oak. 

Only 25 cases were made from this single barrel release. 

This wine won a Bronze Medal at the International Wine & Spirits Awards! It also win the Silver Medal at the ACWC National Wine Awards.

The long summer warmth of the vintage is evident from the first intake of the wine’s aromas: a sultry allure of currant, plum, black cherry and bramble fruit with just a little menthol to bring freshness and dimension. It boasts layers of complexity with notes of tobacco, leather, and subtle spice; perfumed and lifted nose displaying scents of dark rose buds, violets, vanilla, and smoked plums. On the palate, the wine is smooth and lengthy with generous, long, complex fruits and spices. One might not want to share this once in a decade wine.
